The Rebel Soup Project is a series of clay workshops led by local artist and instructor Mesa Matarese where participants will make a clay bowl and spoon, culminating in our 2nd Annual Rebel Soup Farm Party on Saturday October 3rd where together we will feast on farm fresh, organic soup over live music and laughter!

Some of the most rebellious things we can do in these unsettling times:

• Eat, drink and be merry

During the workshop on Wed. 6/10 we will begin with a walk through the “Discovery Garden” on the farm where we will connect with and explore the diverse shapes and textures of plants. We will hand-harvest plants and bring them back to our studio space where Mesa will guide us step-by-step through sculpting our clay bowls, pressing in our plants and bringing our bowls to life using colors from natural pigments. We will end by creating a special matching spoon to help feed our bellies and our hearts!
